| ...........We arrived in London with our daughter and son (Leann & Michael) for Spring Break from Livermore, California. What a great day to be in London and particularly on Abbey Road! I was one of those who watched the Ed Sullivan Show to see the Beatles first big appearance on American television. Soon afterward, my hair grew longer, I started playing electric guitar and a life-long pursuit of rock music was started (note my Pink Floyd T-shirt in the picture!) Dennis Gately |

| Jerry Juden visited Abbey Road back in 1981 whilst in england celebrating his honeymoon. Unfortunately he had his picture taken on the wrong crossing but was very close to the real one! You'll just have to come back again some time Jerry! ....... At least ........... |

I thought I'd send you a pic from my first ever visit to the site back in 1982. My name is Roger Stormo and I'm from Norway. The first time I ever visited London, in the summer of 1982 on an inter-rail trip, I wasted no time. My travelling companion Peter Viken and I disposed of our luggage at the railway station, took "the tube" to St. John's Wood station on the Jubilee line and went straight over to Abbey Road to see, and experience the feeling of crossing this magical place. We didn't bother to eat, make sleeping arrangements or anything. It was like nothing else mattered. And to this day I haven't a clue why. Ever since that first time, whenever I've been to London I've always come back to Abbey Road, and I've even had the good fortune to visit the studio building a couple of times.
