Last Sunday I finally managed to take my 11 year old daughter to the Abbey Road crossing, an activity that she found completely pointless until I started to tell her about the history and significance of all this. Little was she impressed when I started to play old Beatles hits such as 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' and 'Live And Let Die' by Paul McCartney & Wings. I think she may have understood my enthusiasm a little bit better when she saw the crowds of people at the crossing and I hope that with time and age she will come to fully appreciate this little Sunday morning event of ours. I also think that she will be more enthusiastic when she has the opportunity to tell the story herself of our adventure. As there were only the two of us I have taken the liberty of combining two pictures so that we are also four - just as on the album cover!
